Hairvolution

I have been dying my hair since 2012 -- that's eight years of CHEMICAL TORTURE -- but no, really, it's been pretty fun. I do love changing up my styles, and have blogged a few times about my hair. This article is kind of 'expanding' on some of my other posts, showing lots of pictures and detailing my journey through hair-dying overtime.

My hair is currently dark blue (from dark brown hair; bleached blonde and then dyed blue). Despite all the dying, my hair (thankfully) hasn't all fallen out. The picture on the right is my hair in February 2020. (By the way, blogger is super awkward with picture placements so my apologies in advance for some of them being at odd angles.)

For permanent dying, I usually use schwarkopf, and for semi-permanent, I use directions, adore, and/or crazy colour (I like to mix). I'm not going to write which dyes I've used specifically unless necessary, as I tended to mix dyes and can't remember which ones I specifically used each time. But those are the brands I've used. I mostly dye my hair myself, but have had friends/relatives do it a few times for me. I prefer doing it myself just because I like doing my own hair, but it can be useful having someone else go at it, especially those parts at the back. I mainly buy hair products from Paks Cosmetics, an AMAZING shop for afro-hair products.

Movie Review: Circle

No opening credits, just a camera pan of a bunch of people standing in a circle, on separate red pods. Some of them disappear suddenly by falling off or stepping off. Worse than Game of Thrones; a character I liked died within minutes. What a movie. (Spoilers ahead.)

The Internet Is Terrifying

We all know that Big Tech GAFA (aka Google, Amazon, Facebook, and Apple) are watching us. I've been pretty paranoid about the internet and compromising of personal data for some time now. Google probably knows me better than I know myself.

Oh My Amazon.

It is so hard not to buy products from Amazon. They are cheap and apt at delivering fast products. Anything you want can be brought to you within days. Not to mention, they gave me the platform to publish my own books for free. Amazon sure are a trooper.
